A Seoul morning touched by March snow~*

Just a few days ago, snow fell in Seoul. While it’s not uncommon for snow to fall once or twice in March in Korea, it rarely accumulates to this extent. But in mid-March of 2025, the snowfall was heavy enough to blanket the ground. The photo below shows the campus of Yonsei University, located in Sinchon, Seoul. In particular, it captures Underwood Hall—named in honor of the Underwood family, who provided unwavering support, both financially and educationally, in founding the university in 1885.

The snow piled on the shrubs in front of Underwood Hall resembles Nike’s iconic ‘Swoosh’ symbol. The trees lining the road leading into campus are also covered in snow, each branch holding a delicate layer. It looks like a scene from December—but it is, in fact, March.
